Reentry Services Coordinator
Part Time: 20 hours a week
Hourly Wage: $17.50
Purpose: To coordinate services and programs, including volunteer coordination, event planning, and administrative duties. The Reentry Services Coordinator will work with Inside Out staff and volunteers to serve individuals who have been involved with the criminal legal system and assist them in achieving success. Employees will maintain professionalism and confidentiality as representatives of Inside Out. Employees are expected to approach work through a lens of personal growth and healing; to bring compassion and empathy to members; to apply inclusivity and equity to all areas of their work; and to demonstrate cultural humility.
Primary Responsibilities:
Volunteer coordination including recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers, and coordinating the volunteer mentor program
Manage office, including ordering supplies, and tracking invoices and expenses
Plan special events for members, volunteers, and for community outreach, education, and fundraising
Assist with fundraising, process donations in donor and accounting software, and send donor thank you letters
Assist with social media accounts, create outreach materials
Assist with the functioning and maintenance of the drop-in center
Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
An associate’s degree, or 1 year of directly related experience, or a combination of education and experience required.
Experience with volunteer coordination preferred
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Passion for working with returning citizens and improving reentry services in our community
